.) The starting bank for the 6ft tall 13ft wide (full) 40ft long single closed end (SCE) AquaDam. Several feet at the start of this dam were tapered, so that the unit would be able to fit and be filled without removing the small trees.

.) Looking upstream of the AquaDam cofferdam system. The large pipes in the water are for the pump around diversion used here at this job.
.) Workers hold ropes that have been secured at the starting bank, laid under the dam, brought back over top of the dam at the roll end, back up to the starting point, and finally returned to the workers hands. When the AquaDam has enough head, the workers release a little length of rope at a time allowing the dam to unroll slightly across the stream. After a few feet have unrolled, the dam is allowed to rebuild head and the process is repeated until the dam has reached the ending bank.
.) The 6ft tall SCE AquaDam has reached the ending bank. Workers continue to hold the ropes so that can maintain control of the roll as the unit finishes unrolling.
.) Ropes have also been tied back upstream to help prevent the AquaDam from leaning downstream, as it is filled.
.) The exit pipes of the pump around diversion.
.) Looking upstream we can see the 6ft tall SCE AquaDam is almost full.
.) Piping and connectors used to pump around the flow needed to maintain the height of the pool upstream of the AquaDam cofferdam.
.) The 6ft tall AquaDam is full and working. The AquaDam was unfazed by the cold weather.
.) We can see the pool of water upstream of the 6ft tall AquaDam has risen, on the right side of this photo. It is a good thing there was plenty of pumping power on site to keep the pool depth below the maximum controllable water depth of the AquaDam, which is 54-inches (~4.5ft) for a 6ft tall unit.
.) Great job AquaDam!
