.) A historical satellite image from Google Earth Pro dated 7/2003. The imagery is a bit rough, but the two 6ft tall single closed end (SCE) AquaDams can be seen just above and to the right of the San Mateo Creek label.
.) Looking upstream at where one of the 6ft tall SCE AquaDams will be installed. The closed end will just behind the Portadam, on the downstream side.
.) Looking upstream again, but now the upstream 6ft tall SCE AquaDam has been fully unrolled to where it is needed. Now the unit will need to fill to reach its constructed height.
.) Here we can see the starting bank of the upstream 6ft tall SCE AquaDam. A starting bank is needed for a SCE AquaDam. The starting bank is where the starting point (open end) and fill-tubes of a SCE AquaDam are located, and the open end must be elevated higher than the full height of dam along its given path.
.) Both 6ft tall SCE AquaDams have been installed and are filling. The creek diversion is on the left-hand side and there should be more water running down the channel.
.) A worker walked upstream of the diversion and fixed a couple of the issues and so now the diversion is working properly.
.) Looking upstream from the downstream 6ft tall SCE AquaDam. Notice both banks of the creek act as a starting bank for each dam.
.) The upstream 6ft tall SCE AquaDam full and in action.
.) The downstream 6ft tall SCE AquaDam full and working great.
