- Water Storage for Mushroom Farm
Watsonville, CA (2005)

At the start of this project, a berm was created to elevate the end of
the AquaDam® that contains the fill tubes. The berm was made of cement blocks, with
a cement fill down the center for stability. The face of the cement
blocks were covered with small gravel to make a smooth, slanted berm.
A protective layer was added so ground hazards could not damage the AquaDam®.
This picture shows the fill tubes going over the top and into the AquaDam®. The
fill tubes must be elevated above the dam in order to retain the water.
