This salmonoid-producing stream needed to be blocked off upstream
and down so that a box culvert/bridge could be renovated. The 6"
white plastic pipe was used to pump water around the work site.
The two 3" discharge pumps were used to fill the AquaDam®.
This 3' x by 25' AquaDam® took approximately 10 minutes to install
once pumping began. The 6" red hose was used for bypass discharge.
The end of the 3' AquaDam® was started up the bank an additional 2'
(for a total of 5' above the stream bed). The clear plastic fill tubes
extended up past the start of the AquaDam®. Leaving extra material upon
the bank allowed the AquaDam® to be tied off to a tree above it. This
kept the fill tubes from falling over.
